The MMG Mortgages ‘Old Fashioned’

We hope you enjoy this amazing cocktail! The Old Fashioned is one of our favourites and was carefully made for us by our friends at Bridgeland Distillery. 

 History:

The Old-Fashioned was an evolution of the Whiskey Cocktail and was served as early as 1800. It wasn't until the 1880s when bartenders began adding embellishments to their Whiskey Cocktails. Some customers rebelled against the innovations but like any amazing idea, the Old Fashioned was born and the rebellion was in full motion.

 Description:

The young 3 grain whisky provides a nice vanilla aroma mixed with the cloves and cardamon of the bitters. The palate provides a nice orange flavour with a hint of vanilla. The warm finish brings the bitter touch forward.
